Events
The append-only timeline of item activity, unifying inventory/custody movements and
service events (calibration, maintenance, repair) into one chronological ledger. Each
row carries the common item_id and performed_at, an event_type discriminator, and
a nested transaction or service_event object holding the type-specific detail
(direction/kind/quantity for transactions; schedule and kind for services).
Use this to answer "what happened to this item?" — for current state see Inventories and Custodies, which are derived from the transaction events.
