Taxonomy

The hierarchical product classification tree (e.g. Tools → Power Tools → Drills) used to organize the Products catalog.

Each Product belongs to a Taxonomy Category, which defines the set of attributes relevant to products in that bucket. Categories form an ancestry tree, so a child inherits the attributes of its ancestors.
