Assets Items Retirements

Retire or unretire an Item. Prefer this over deleting — retirement preserves the full transaction and version history while taking the Item out of circulation.

For serial Items, this flips status to retired (or back to available). For bulk Items, it sets a retired flag. Retired Items are excluded from default listings and available-stock queries.
