We're excited to announce a new batch of features and improvements deployed today! This release focuses on enhancing payroll management, streamlining certifications, improving time tracking accuracy, and refining the user interface for key workflows.

✨ New Features​

Wage & Hour Payroll Actuals Import​

You can now easily import payroll actuals data using the Wage & Hour CSV format. This new import service streamlines the process of getting your payroll data into the system accurately and efficiently.

Job Pay Visualization & PWA Tracking​

For managers and admins, we've introduced a new "Pay" tab within the job view. This powerful feature, now available, provides:

  • Clear Visualizations: See wage pay and total obligation information, especially helpful for Prevailing Wage Act (PWA) jobs.
  • Data Aggregation: View pay data daily or cumulatively over selected date ranges.
  • Informed Decisions: Gain better insights into job costs and PWA compliance.

Time Card Summary View (Aggregate Time Mode)​

For pay periods using the "aggregate time mode," we've launched a new time card summary view. Instead of the traditional entry-by-entry list, you'll see time card information organized by day, simplifying review with clear job allocation details. Admins also benefit from integrated PWA compliance data within this view. Users in "base time mode" pay periods will continue to see the standard time card view.

Enhanced Certification Management​

Managing user certifications is now easier and more intuitive:

  • Improved Filtering: Quickly filter certifications by status (expired, expiring soon, active, approved, archived).
  • Better Visuals: New progress bars clearly indicate expiration dates and status.
  • Modern Selection: An updated typeahead component replaces the old autocomplete for selecting certifications.
  • Streamlined UI: The overall layout for managing certifications has been improved for clarity on desktop and mobile.

User Position Filtering & Sorting​

Finding specific user positions is now simpler with enhanced filtering and sorting on the User Positions page:

  • Quick Filters: Filter by hourly rates, per diem rates, or PWA status.
  • Precise Filtering: Use typeahead filters for specific jobs and sites.
  • Sorting Options: Sort positions by start or end times.

Integration Improvements​

We've added new capabilities to our API, enabling developers and integration partners to retrieve more detailed position and paystub information, facilitating smoother data exchange with other systems.

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements​

  • Certification Attachments: Certification attachments now open correctly in a new browser tab and work reliably with older uploads.
  • Time Tracking Accuracy: We've resolved issues related to clock-in time rounding that could affect force clock-outs, and ensured clock-out reminder notifications are delivered reliably.
  • Position Editing: Corrected validation errors that could appear when editing user positions.
  • Time Card Clarity: Eliminated duplicate time entries that could appear in the "Clocked Within Site" requirement checklist.
  • Safety Form Definitions: Fixed bugs related to pagination and pinning/unpinning safety form definitions.
  • PWA Calculations: Improved the consistency and reliability of Prevailing Wage Act (PWA) penalty calculations.
