We've been busy building some powerful new features and improvements to make your workflow smoother. Here's what's rolling out in this release!

Rate Package Management 💰​

Rate Package Management

We've introduced a brand-new way to manage pay rates with our Rate Package system. This gives you way more flexibility when setting up how workers get paid.

What you can do now:

  • Create rate packages with customizable rules that automatically adjust pay based on conditions like time of day, day of the week, or specific dates
  • Set up weekend rates, night shift differentials, holiday pay, and more - all without manual calculations
  • Schedule future changes to rates and see a complete history of when rates changed
  • View all your rate packages in one place with clear indicators showing which positions are using each package
  • Mark packages as default to automatically apply them to new positions

Rate Rule Management

The real power comes from conditional rules. You can set rates that automatically apply when certain conditions are met:

  • Time-based rules (e.g., extra $3/hour between 10 PM and 6 AM)
  • Day-specific rates (e.g., weekend premium pay)
  • Holiday rates for specific dates
  • And any combination of the above!

The system handles all the complex calculations automatically, so you can focus on setting fair rates rather than doing math.

Smarter Pay Period Filters 🔍​

We've completely rebuilt the filtering experience on pay period pages. Finding the right timecards and workers is now way easier and more intuitive.

What's improved:

  • Better search with autocomplete for jobs, workers, managers, and groups
  • Filters now remember your selections and work more reliably
  • Cleaner, more organized filter layout that works great on mobile
  • Quick filters for common views like "My Reports" or "Manager Pending"
  • Filter by employment type and compensation type for better organization

The new system is faster and gives you more control over exactly what you're looking for.

Better Form Editing Experience ✨​

We've made some quality-of-life improvements when working with forms:

  • After saving form changes, you'll now see a friendly toast notification instead of being redirected away
  • Stay in your workflow and keep editing without losing your place
  • Toast notifications are color-coded (green for success, red for errors) so you always know what happened
