Hey there, DSPTCH users! We've been busy cooking up some exciting updates that'll make your workflow smoother and your compliance life easier. Let's dive into what's new!

📍 Richer Map Experience

See More Context at a Glance

We've supercharged our map popups to give you more valuable information without the extra clicks:

Sites Now Show Associated Projects 🏗️
When you click on a site, you'll now see a new "Projects" tab that displays all projects connected to that location. Get instant visibility into which companies are involved, project timelines, and quick links to project details. No more jumping between screens to understand what's happening at each site!

Projects Tab

Enhanced Personnel Information 👷
User popups on the map got a major upgrade too! You can now see:

  • Ongoing Jobs: All active jobs where this person is currently working
  • Managed Jobs: Jobs they're supervising or managing

This makes it super easy to understand someone's current workload and responsibilities right from the map view.

💰 Prevailing Wage Overtime Management

Custom Overtime Rules for PWA Jobs

Managing prevailing wage compliance just got a whole lot more powerful! We've introduced a powerful new system for handling overtime rules specific to your prevailing wage jobs.

What's New:

  • Create custom overtime rules for each wage determination on your regional PWA jobs
  • Schedule future changes to overtime rates (perfect for when wage determinations update!)
  • Set termination dates for rules that are expiring
  • View the complete history of overtime rule changes for audit trails

Job Wage Determination OT

This means you can now handle complex prevailing wage requirements with confidence, knowing your overtime calculations will automatically adjust based on the specific rules for each job and classification.

Why This Matters: Different prevailing wage jobs often have different overtime requirements based on the wage determination. Now you can set these up once and let the system handle the complexity for you! 🎯

📋 WH-347 Form Update: Supporting the DOL's 2025 Requirements

What's Changing with Federal Certified Payroll

The Department of Labor has updated the WH-347 form for 2025, introducing more detailed reporting requirements for federal and federally-assisted construction projects. We've fully integrated support for the new form in DSPTCH's WH-347 Export Dashboard.

Key Changes in the 2025 Form:

Expanded Fringe Benefit Documentation 💼

  • The new form requires contractors to identify each fringe benefit plan by name and type
  • Clear distinction between funded and unfunded plans
  • Hourly fringe benefit credits must be calculated and shown for each plan
  • Plans now require specific identification numbers for tracking

Detailed Apprenticeship Reporting 🎓

  • Apprentices must be linked to their registered apprenticeship program by name
  • Programs must identify their registration agency: Federal (OA) or State (SAA)
  • Enhanced tracking ensures apprentices are paid appropriate percentages of journeyworker rates

How DSPTCH Handles the Transition

  • Supports both legacy and new form versions during the federal transition period
  • Automatically determines which version to use based on your data completeness
  • Export in either format to meet varying agency requirements
  • Legacy option remains available when needed for specific contracting agencies

When eligible, the WH347 dashboard will clearly indicate that the new version is available for use:

New WH347 Eligible

When additional setup is needed, DSPTCH will guide you through the process of configuring the necessary information:

New WH347 Ineligible

Why This Matters: These changes strengthen wage compliance oversight and ensure workers receive proper fringe benefit credits. The enhanced reporting helps contractors demonstrate compliance with Davis-Bacon Act requirements while providing clearer documentation for DOL audits.

🔧 Quality of Life Improvements

As always, we've squashed some bugs and made small tweaks to make your experience even better:

  • More accurate wage calculations with improved rounding
  • Enhanced performance for map data loading
  • Various UI polish to make things feel snappier

What's Next?

We're already hard at work on the next round of improvements. Got feedback or feature requests? We'd love to hear from you!
